  飯山駅から秋山郷へ。日本有数の豪雪地帯に息づく、自然・暮らし・観光の現場をめぐります。

   

  新潟県津南町から長野県栄村へと続く、山深い秘境「秋山郷」。

   

  今回のツアーでは、飯山駅を出発し、津南・秋山郷をめぐりながら、雄大な自然や地域の観光スポットだけでなく、そこに暮らす人々が守り続けてきた文化や観光の取り組みにも触れていきます。

   

  国道405号を進み、山あいの集落を抜けながら、見玉公園、石落とし、見玉不動尊、切明温泉、布岩など、秋山郷ならではの景観を訪ねます。

   

  普段の観光では見過ごしてしまうような場所にも立ち寄りながら、観光と暮らしの視点から現地で感じていただける行程となっています。

  登山ルートは比較的ゆるやかで、初めての百名山にもぴったり。

  地元ガイドが同行し、植物や地形の解説を交えながら、無理なく山頂を目指します。

  Mount Naeba（Alt. 2,145 m）, a renowned peak rising on the border of Niigata and Nagano.

   

  At its summit stretches a vast marshland, as if floating in the sky.

  On this tour, you will stay at the “Naeba Summit Hutte” located at the summit and enjoy two days immersed in the beautiful scenery of morning and evening.

   

  The climbing route is relatively gentle, making it ideal for a first climb among Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains.

  Accompanied by a local guide, you will make your way to the summit at a comfortable pace while learning about the plants and terrain along the way.

   

  At the summit, a tranquil world unfolds—where the ever-changing colors of the sky and marshland blend together, and only the sound of the wind can be heard.

  On clear days, you may see a sea of clouds or a sky full of stars, and in the early morning, the marshland sparkling with dewdrops.

   

  You will be staying at the “Naeba Summit Hutte” at the summit.

  This simple yet clean mountain hut offers a warm dinner and a night surrounded by nature.

  This is a 1-night, 2-day cligmbing tour to the renowned Mt. Naeba, which straddles Niigata and Nagano, accompanied by a local guide.

   

  The greatest attraction of Mt. Naeba is the celestial marshland that spreads across the summit area at an elevation of 2,145 meters.

  Take a single step inside, and you will find yourself in another world. Alpine plants sway in the breeze, and the sky reflects in the ponds—a miraculous landscape created by nature itself.

   

  The trail is well maintained and easy to climb, making it suitable for beginners and senior hikers.

  It is also a sacred peak long revered in mountain worship, offering not just a hike, but a true “journey.”

   

  You will stay the night before at a guesthouse in Koakasawa near the trailhead, depart early the next morning, and aim for a day hike.

  上信越高原国立公園の中心、志賀高原の北に位置するカヤの平高原は、

  標高約1,400〜1,700mに広がる、約1,450haの雄大な自然エリアです。

   

  この地の最大の魅力は、

  spreading across elevations of about 1,400 to 1,700 meters.

   

  The greatest attraction of this land, is its primeval beech forest, with trees over 300 years old.

   

  This forest, largely untouched by human hands,

  is often called “the most beautiful beech forest in Japan,”
